It's awards season and time for the third annual Homies Awards which celebrate readers' favorite shelter blogs. Instead of getting gussied up in gowns and tuxes you can get in on the hoopla from the comfort of your own couch (even in your pjs if you like). If you're like me you can get (delightfully) lost hopping from blog to blog to blog like a frog on a lily pad, but there is that handful of blogs that you return to again and again and begin to feel evangelical about. These are the ones we want to know about and celebrate.  

In addition to nominating your favorite blogs in the Kids @ Home category, you can also spread the gospel about your favorites in Home Design, Home Tech, Green Home & Home Cooking. The nomination period ends January 25 and then there's a week of fevered voting before the winners are announced on February 4th.
